Ever wanted a waterfront home but weren't sure where to start? If you're willing to do a little work you can get into a waterfront home for under $500k. The home may not be perfect, but if
A hot topic that has been going around a lot this year is kids sports. So many kids are getting locked into one sport and parents are going all in putting them on select teams paying out a bunch of money for them to play these sports. My girls both play multiple sports and do other activities as well. Both of my girls play soccer because they love it. I'm not sure how much bearing my coaching has on it, but I give them the option to quit or go select but they both want to keep playing for me. I also coach Sophia's basketball team and each year I ask if she wants to play or not and she says yes because its fun. I hope my kids are enjoying themselves, but at some point the rec pool for soccer in particular is really going to dry up and even if I was the best coach in the world it's hard to help them to continue to grow when there is minimal competition.
My questions for you:
1. How young is too young to be paying for competitive sports?
2. Should a kid be locked into just one sport if they are good at and enjoy others?
3. Are we as parents putting too much pressure on our kids by doing so?
4. Have we hurt our recreational sports programs with so many pay to play options who literally take anyone with cash in hand?
