It is so easy to walk into a brand-new home and just settle. There aren't unknown expenses, what you see is what you get, and you can walk in and not worry about hemorrhaging time or money.
So, it's my birthday. Normally I don't mention my birthday to many people, but I hear so many people lately bummed about it being their birthday, they just got another year older....Why does it matter?
Oh I'm old...Yup, just turning 40, YES, 40, I know, its almost as old as dirt, lol
Reflecting back at the last 40 years though, I have done a lot of cool things. I have 2 amazing little girls. I do something I love which is coach and still play soccer. (Yes, even at 40) Periodically I have an opportunity to travel. I have an insurance agency that my girls help me to run. This last year I finally took the leap and became a real estate broker. I've been involved in various parts of real estate since 2003, but never took the leap until now and I absolutely love the decision.
Whatever age you are, embrace it, look at some of the highlights and accomplishments in your life and celebrate where you are. If you aren't fully satisfied with where you are, set goals to get to where you want to be.
